In Round 10 of the NRL   top clash of the weekend Cronulla Sharks confirmed their place at the top of the standings with a 25-18 win at Melbourne Storm to go 2 points clear at the top of the Telstra Premiership .

Elsewhere the Dragons had a commending 28-14 wins over the Souths  Rabbitohs while the Dolphins ran out 30 pts to 24 over the Sea Eagles at Brookvale .

Penrith Panthers won once again as they won 20-16 over Canterbury  Bulldogs at Belmore
